This lovely four bed Victorian house is in the great area of Abington and very popular with students. It still maintains some original features although fully modernized. It has four good size bedrooms, with Victorian fireplaces, three on the first floor and one on the ground floor. Each bedroom is painted in neutral colors, has double glazing with matching throughout, solid furniture and really large comfy beds. Also each room also has its own mirror and digital tv points.
The lounge has laminated flooring, leather settees a beautiful Victorian fireplace. It also has table and chairs, coffee table, tv and the usual pictures, one of which was painted by a previous art student.
There is a modern bathroom, with bath., basin, loo and electric shower over the bath, there is also a separate wc with loo and washbasin.
There is a henry hoover and the central heating is managed under contract with British Gas. The kitchen is modern with, tiled floor, a washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave and ‘next’ blind. There is a tumble dryer in the basement. The house has a small garden mainly laid to lawn with a border.
It is just a few minutes from the well know Wellingborough road which consist of a range of supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, clubs, designer shops, take-aways, banks and chemists. It is also only ten minutes from the town center for your night life and the larger department stores and market. The uni bus stop is only a 10 minutes walk away if you do not want to walk the fifteen minutes to Ave campus.
Waterside campus is a 10 minutes walk to Abington Square, then catch the number 20 bus. Its Zone 1 and it's Free, or 22 minutes walk straight there.
Avenue campus is a short 15 minutes walk to the campus.
